PENANG INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY & LIFESTYLE EXPO 2006 (PIP 2006) which was held from 12th to 14th May 2006 offered arguably Penang's largest selection of properties, home services & products, lifestyle products, "Malaysia: My Second Home Programme" (MMSH), excellent medical facilities that are available in Penang, Investment dialogues, fabulous lucky draw prizes, auctions and public talks.

About 50 established and prominent developers showcased properties worth about RM4 billion during the 3 days. These properties ranged from medium priced apartments to million ringgit super condos.

The Lifestyle Fair at the Concourse, Level 3 was a platform for furniture, home and lifestyle products.

A One day Penang Investment Dialogue was also held in conjunction with the Expo.

A mock property auction and actual auctions were held during the 3 days.

Many activities and attractions of vast public interest were also brought in to add colour and flavour to the Expo

The Public Talks rendered by established and popular speakers were well attended by the visitors to the Expo.

The Expo constituted Property Expo, including Malaysia : My Second Home Program, Lifestyle Fair, Introducing and Opportunities in Health Services in Penang, Penang Investment Dialogue, Public Talks, Novelty Events and Property Auction

In spite of it being Wesak Day and it was raining the whole morning on Friday 12th May 2006, the public still thronged PISA to check out the properties at the Expo. On the whole the Expo was a success with a steady flow of quality crowd of almost 20,000 for the 3 days.
